Okay hey anyone who read this! I hope you have had a fabulous day, please let me know what you’ve been up to and any books you have read
the next book I am writing about is probably my equally favourite series next to until I die (I have previously reviewed this). The series is called starcrossed and there are currently two books; Starcrossed book 1 and Dreamless book 2. They are both amazing books!
Starcrossed is about a girl called Helen who is gorgeous, like Greek God gorgeous
(you will get it once you’ve read the book). She meets this family who have just moved in, and for unexplainable reason she hates them as in, when she gets near wants to kill them hates them. She particular feels strongly (in both ways) for one of the guys called Lucas. I won’t give away any more but it’s heat passion and love and as always Lucas is very overprotective-as his family- of Helen and I love those types of guys. It’s surrounded on mythical Greek history, but I have never learnt about it and I understood the book fine. This first book is wonderful and the second just gets better. The third book Goddess is out in 28th of May.
Josephine Angelini has done a brilliant job with these books.
Here is Starcrossed blurb, and the link to goodreads series page.
Helen Hamilton has spent her entire sixteen years trying to hide how different she is—no easy task on an island as small and sheltered as Nantucket. And it’s getting harder. Nightmares of a desperate desert journey have Helen waking parched, only to find her sheets damaged by dirt and dust. At school she’s haunted by hallucinations of three women weeping tears of blood . . . and when Helen first crosses paths with Lucas Delos, she has no way of knowing they’re destined to play the leading roles in a tragedy the Fates insist on repeating throughout history.
As Helen unlocks the secrets of her ancestry, she realizes that some myths are more than just legend. But even demigod powers might not be enough to defy the forces that are both drawing her and Lucas together—and trying to tear them apart.
